Dunki Box Office Collection Day 7 Prediction: SRK’s Film To See Its Lowest Number As It’s Set To Cross 150Cr

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki has been creating ripples in the industry ever since it was announced. After all, it marked King Khan's first collaboration with the National Award Winning Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani. Also starring Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Grover and Boman Irani, the comedy drama is based on the eponymous illegal immigration technique and has managed to create a lot of buzz in the town.

Interestingly, Dunki marked Shah Rukh's third release of the year after Pathaan and Jawan and there have been speculations if it will be another blockbuster hit at the box office. However, contradictory to the expectations, Dunki failed to recreate Pathaan and Jawan's magic at the box office and seems to be struggling in the first week itself.

Yes! You read it right. Dunki recorded a collection of Rs 29.2 crores on the opening day and while it did see a slight jump in collections during the opening weekend, Dunki has been witnessing a continuous drop in numbers since Christmas. After minting Rs 24.32 crores on the first Monday (Christmas/ day 5), Dunki saw a significant fall and reportedly minted just Rs 10 crores on the first Tuesday (day 6) as shared by Sacnilk.

Given the ongoing trend, Dunki is likely to witness a dip in numbers again and is likely to record its lowest single day collection today (day 7) with an earning of around Rs 8-12 crores. In fact, as per a report shared by Sacnilk, Dunki has made a collection of Rs 6 lakhs so far from the early morning shows today and the numbers are likely to change during the day.

Interestingly, Dunki is witnessing a box office clash with Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran's much talked about movie Salaar and the latter is giving it a tough fight. Yes! Salaar has managed to crush Dunki and made an opening day collection of Rs 95 crores after opening to rave reviews from the audience. This isn't all. Salaar, which has been helmed by ace filmmaker Prashanth Neel, has also reportedly scored Rs 175 crores at the worldwide box office on its day of release. In fact, it has raked in Rs 400 crores worldwide so far in just 4 days of release.
