Fukrey 3 Advance Booking: Pulkit’s Film & Chandramukhi 2 Mint 2Cr On Day 1; BEAT The Vaccine War With Huge Gap

After an intense box office clash between Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan and Sunny Deol's Gadar 2, the Indian box office witnessed another massive clash in September. This time it happened between Pulkit Samrat's Fukrey 3, Kangana Ranaut's horror film Chandramukhi 2 and Vivek Agnihotri directorial The Vaccine War.

Interestingly, all three films have been among the most anticipated movies of the year and have managed to create substantial buzz. To note, Fukrey 3 and Chandramukhi 2 have been grabbing eyeballs for their respective successful franchises. For the uninitiated, Fukrey 3 happens to be the third installment of the Fukrey franchise while Kangana Ranaut and Raghava Lawrence starrer Chandramukhi 2 is the second installment of the Tamil horror drama. Both movies have managed to fetch the benefit of the successful franchise.

According to a report published in Koimoi, Fukrey 3, starring Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Richa Chadha and Manjot Singh, made a collection of Rs 2.15 crores gross all across the country through advance booking while Chandramukhi 2, which reportedly sold over 2 lakh tickets and made a collection of Rs 2.60 crores gross through advance booking on day 1. On the other hand, The Vaccine War is based on the true story of the development of Covaxin during the COVID-19 pandemic in India. The film features Nana Patekar, Pallavi Joshi, Raima Sen, Anupam Kher, Girija Oak, Nivedita Bhattacharya, Sapthami Gowda, and Mohan Kapur in key roles

And while the movie is backed by a powerful cast, it managed to make an advance booking collection of only Rs 50 lakhs. However, a positive word of mouth is likely to add to the on the spot bookings for The Vaccine War. It will be interesting to see how these films will fare in the coming days at the box office amid the ongoing Jawan wave
