On Day 17 of its theatrical run, Gadar 2 raked in a phenomenal Rs 17 crore net in India, pushing its total earnings to a staggering Rs 456.95 crore net. As per Sacnilk, the film's occupancy rate on Day 17 stood at an impressive 57.80%. This remarkable performance is proof of the film's engaging storyline and powerful performances.

ABOUT GADAR 2
Gadar 2 follows the journey of Tara Singh as he embarks on a daring mission to cross the border and rescue his son, portrayed by Utkarsh Sharma, who has been captured in Pakistan. The film is set in Lahore during the year 1971 and seamlessly continues the legacy of thrilling action sequences from its predecessor.
This cinematic installment serves as a sequel to Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, a 2001 film that unfolded against the backdrop of India's Partition in 1947. The narrative of the film was loosely inspired by the life of Boota Singh, a former soldier in the British army, and his poignant love story with Zainab. The original film featured leading performances by Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, supported by the talents of Amrish Puri and Lillete Dubey.
