Gadar 2 Box Office Collection Day 23 Prediction: Helmed by Anil Sharma, actors Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel returned to screen with their iconic characters, Tara Singh and Shakeena. It has become a commercial blockbuster, creating history at the Indian box office.

The sequel to the 2001 superhit movie Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, Gadar 2 has had a great run in theatres, especially single screens, since its release on August 11. The film opened at 40 crore and is one step closer to entering the 500 crore club.

Gadar 2 has managed to win fans' hearts and recreate the same magic that was spelled 22 years ago. The film on day 22 earned 6 crore. Though there has been a drop in its daily collection, the action drama film has managed to amass Rs 487.65 cr.

The film still continues to dominate the box office and will soon cross the 500 crore mark. Its first week collection was Rs 284.63 crore, second week Rs 134.47 crore and Rs 63.35 crore, week three collection.

According to early estimates by trade website Sacnilk, Gadar 2 may earn 7 crore on day 23, September 2, taking its collection to Rs 494.65 crore. Its global collection will stand at 639 million.

Gadar 2 starts off where the first part was left. Sunny Deol, a truck driver, and his wife Sakeena, played by Ameesha Patel, are enjoying a blissful marital life.

Tara Singh has to venture across the border in a bold effort to rescue his son, portrayed by Utkarsh Sharma, who has been captured in Pakistan. It is set in 1971, while Gadar: Ek Prem Katha was set during the India-Pak partition of 1947.
