Gadar 2 Box Office Collection Day 31: Sunny’s Film Sees Steady Growth Amid Jawan Wave; Moves Towards Rs 515 Cr

Sunny Deol brought the box office charm back recently as he came with his much anticipated release Gadar 2 on August 11. The movie had witnessed a box office clash with Akshay Kumar's OMG 2 and the Anil Sharma directorial managed to overpower every film at the box office to create new records every day.

From having a stupendous first day collection of Rs 45 crores to becoming the fastest film to enter the coveted Rs 500 crore club, Gadar 2's journey at the box office has been commendable. And now, a month after its release, Gadar 2 is still having a good hold at the box office with a decent earnings.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Gadar 2 will be maintaining a steady business at the box office on day 31 of release. As per the reports, this Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer will be minting Rs 1.36 crore at the box office today. Well, if the reports turned out to be true, the collection of Gadar 2 so far will stand at Rs 513.6 crore.

To note, Gadar 2, which had taken over the box office like a tsunami, has been subsided post the release of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan. In fact, post Jawan release, Gadar 2 even witnessed its lowest collection in a day ever with just Rs 0.9 crore on day 29 of release.

Meanwhile, the team of Gadar 2 has been elated with the stupendous success of Jawan. Recently, Gadar 2 actress Ameesha Patel congratulated King Khan for Jawan's box office success and tweeted, "Congrats @iamsrk for once again creating GADAR at the box office .. who better then u can do this magic .. we love u". Earlier, Gadar 2 director Anil Sharma recently spoke about Jawan's effect on the film's collection and told Indian Express, "Just like how Gadar 2 got the audience's love, Jawan is set to receive the same amount of love and more. People are going to have a great cinema-watching experience".
