Gadar 2 Box Office Collection Day 32: Sunny’s Film To See A Drop On Monday Amid Jawan Wave; Fails To Earn 1Cr

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel took the box office by a storm as they returned to the big screen as Tara Singh and Sakin in Gadar 2 after two decades. Helmed by Anil Sharma, the movie was a massive hit among the fans and brought a new life to the Indian box office. However, Gadar 2 magic has been subsided lately post the release of Shah Rukh Khan's much anticipated movie Jawan. The movie has been one of the biggest releases of the year and has undoubtedly been given a tough competition to Gadar 2. And while Gadar 2 has been striking hard to maintain a decent growth at the box office, the fifth Monday will witness a massive dip in the collections.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Gadar 2 will fail to cross Rs 1 crore mark on day 32 (the fifth Monday of release). The movie is expected to rake in Rs 0.79 crore today. It is evident that this massive drop is owing to the tough competition from Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan. And if the reports turn out to be true, the overall collection of Gadar 2 will stand at Rs 514.57 crore.

It is evident that Gadar 2 is gradually moving towards crossing the lifetime collection of Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan (Rs 525 crore) soon. It will be interesting to see if Jawan will manage to put a hold on Gadar 2's box office journey this week.

Meanwhile, the team of Gadar 2 has been elated with the stupendous success of Jawan. Recently, Gadar 2 actress Ameesha Patel congratulated King Khan for Jawan's box office success and tweeted, "Congrats @iamsrk for once again creating GADAR at the box office .. who better then u can do this magic .. we love u".
