Gadar 2 Box Office Collection Day 35: Sunny Deol’s Film Stays Steady Amid Jawan Wave; To Beat Pathaan Soon

Sunny Deol, who won hearts with his performance as Tara Singh in the 2001 release Gadar, managed to recreate the magic after two decades as he came with Gadar 2. Helmed by Anil Sharma, the movie also featured Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma who reprised their respective role of Sakina and Jeete respectively.

Gadar 2 opened to rave reviews and a thunderous start at the box office and has managed to rule for over a month. While it has created several box office records in her journey so far, the release of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan slowed its run at the ticket windows. However, Gadar 2 continues to put in efforts and maintain a hold at the box office.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Gadar 2 has maintained a steady growth on day 35 of its release. The media report suggested that the movie will be making a collection of Rs 54 lakhs on day 35 today. If the reports turned out to be true, it will take the overall collection of Gadar 2 to Rs 517.13 crores.

It is evident that despite Jawan toofan at box office, Gadar 2 is growing gradually and is likely to cross the lifetime collection of Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan (Hindi) which was around Rs 525 crore. It will be interesting to see if Gadar 2 will be able to beat Pathaan this month and become the second highest grossing Hindi film after Baahubali 2.

Meanwhile, Sunny is over the moon with the phenomenal success of Gadar 2. Expressing his excitement, he had told Zoom in an interview, "I am indeed very happy. When we did the second part of Gadar, we never knew it would be so loved by the audience. Two whole generations have gone by since we did the first Gadar. And still, people are as excited as they were the first time. I am amazed and very very happy. We need some hits to keep the film industry on its feet".
