Gadar 2 Box Office Collection Day 4: Sunny Deol's Film Is UNBEATABLE, Set To Enter 200 Cr Club On I-Day

Gadar 2 day 4 box office collection: Sunny Deol is currently riding high as his recently released movie Gadar 2 is roaring at the Indian box office. Sunny and Ameesha Patel bring back their iconic characters Tara Singh and Sheekna after a decade, and the film has unleashed a massive frenzy amongst cinelovers.

The sequel to Anil Sharma's 2001 superhit movie Gadar: Ek Prem Katha has already been declared a blockbuster and looks like it's slowing down anytime soon. The movie is having its dream run in the domestic market and will soon enter the coveted 200 crore club.

Gadar 2 made a tremendous opening on August 11 by earning a remarkable figure of 40 crore.

Gadar 2 has wreaked havoc at the box office as it debuted on August 11 by cashing in Rs 39 crore on opening day. It also scored the second-biggest opener position of the year after Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan.

The film earned Rs 43.08 crore on day two, and ₹51.7 crore on day three, while it is going on a winning streak as it sailed through the Monday test with ease. On Monday, day 4, Gadar 2 raked in a huge figure of Rs 39 crore.

Its total collection now stands at Rs 173.88 crore and had an overall 56.58 percent occupancy on Monday, August 14. The film is expected to enter the 200 crore club on Independence Day.

About Gadar 2

The film, helmed by Anil Sharma, is set during the Indo-Pak War of 1971. Sunny as Tara Singh returns to Pakistan in a daring attempt to bring back his son Jeete, who is imprisoned and tortured by the Pakistani army.

During the press conference for Gadar 2, Sunny opened up about the film's success. He was quoted by ANI as saying, "I was quite stressed over the period of time and when this film hit the cinema halls, I don't know why it felt like God came inside me. I was crying and laughing all night and evening. I also met my father (Dharmendra) and said, 'No I am not drunk, I am happy what do I do'."
