Gadar 2 Box Office Collection Day 6: After Pathaan, Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 has revived the Indian box office for Bollywood in newer ways. The records continue to accumulate for Gadar 2, which is now a smash hit at the box office.

Anil Sharma's directorial has managed to win moviegoers hearts and is performing extremely well in theatres, especially on single screens. The film collected a massive haul of Rs 55 on Independence Day but witnessed a slight drop on Wednesday.

However, it has comfortably crossed the Rs 250 crore mark and is expected to enter the Rs 300 crore mark soon.

Gadar 2 in just 6 days has crossed the prestigious 200 crore mark. The epic love saga has been smashing records at the box office, and on August 16, Wednesday, it raked in a whopping Rs 34.50 crore in India.

This is huge for a movie to achieve considering a working weekday. Its total collection now stands at Rs 263.48 crore, while it had a 56.09 percent occupancy on August 16.

The film on August 11 started off on a high note by recording a massive Rs 40 crore. On day 2, it earned Rs 43, 51.7 crore on day 3, and Rs 38.7 crore on day 4.

Gadar 2 is a follow-up to the iconic Tara Singh and Shakeena's (Ameesha Patel) cross-border love story. Set during the Crush India movement of 1971, Tara Singh returns to Pakistan in a daring attempt to rescue his son, Jettey, portrayed by Utkarsh Sharma, who has been captured by the Pakistan army and tortured.

Helmed by Anil Sharma, it also stars Manish Wadhwa, Gaurav Chopra, Simrat Kaur, Luv Sinha, Rohit Chaudhary, Madhumalti Kapoor, Rakesh Bedi, Mushtaq Khan, and Dolly Bindra.
