Gadar 2 Day 11 BO Prediction: Sunny’s Film To Beat Dangal’s Life Time Collection; Inches Towards Rs 400 Cr
Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel have all the reasons to be on cloud nine these days and rightfully so. After all, their recent release Gadar 2 is on a record breaking spree these days and it minting gold at the box office. For the uninitiated, the Anil Sharma directorial features Sunny and Ameesha recreating their magic as Tara Singh and Sakina.
Gadar 2 has opened to rave reviews from the audience and witnessed a massive opening at the box office despite a box office clash from Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi's OMG 2. Interestingly, the patriotic family drama has managed to cross the Rs 370 crore mark in just 10 days of release and Gadar 2 is in no mood to slowdown anytime soon.
In fact, the early trends state that Gadar 2 is likely to pass the crucial second Monday test with flying colours and will be beating the lifetime collection of Aamir Khan's Dangal. For the uninitiated, Dangal made a nett collection of Rs 387.38 in India. And according to a report published in Sacnilk, Gadar 2, which currently stands at Rs 377.2 crore in 10 days, will be earning around Rs 13 crore on the eleventh day. If the reports turned out to be true, the total collection of Gadar 2 will move to Rs 390.20 crore.
Interestingly, given Gadar's winning streak and as it is inching towards Rs 400 crore mark, it is likely to surpass the lifetime collection of Avatar: The Way of Water in India on day 12. To note, Avatar: The Way of Water made a collection of Rs 391.4 crore in India
Meanwhile, Sunny Deol is overwhelmed with the success of Gadar 2. Talking to Zoom, he said, "I am indeed very happy. When we did the second part of Gadar, we never knew it would be so loved by the audience. Two whole generations have gone by since we did the first Gadar. And still, people are as excited as they were the first time. I am amazed and very very happy. We need some hits to keep the film industry on its feet".
