Gadar 2 Day 20 BO Prediction: Sunny Deol’s Film BEATS Shah Rukh’s Pathaan As It Storms Towards Rs 500 Cr Club

Sunny Deol has all the reasons to grin from ear to ear these days. After all, his recent release Gadar 2 has been soaring high at the box office. Helmed by Anil Sharma, the movie also stars Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma in the lead and marks Sunny Deol's first hit in around 12 years.

And while fans are in awe of Sunny's phenomenal return as Tara Singh, Gadar 2 has been shattering records at the box office with each passing day. In fact, it's almost three weeks since the release of the movie and it continues to be unstoppable. After a thunderous opening at the box office, Gadar 2 became the fastest movie to enter the Rs 400 cr mark and it eyeing Rs 500 crore mark now.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Gadar 2 will be witnessing a strong hold at the box office on day 20 as well. The media reports suggested that it will be earning Rs 5.91 crore on day 20 which will take the overall collection to Rs 471.65 crores. While the exact numbers are yet to be out soon, if the reports turned out to be true, Gadar 2 will be beating Pathaan's collection on its day 20 of release.

For the uninitiated, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Pathaan had minted Rs 4.2 crores on its 20th day of release. Clearly, Gadar 2 is aiming to surpass Pathaan's collection at the box office.

Meanwhile, Sunny Deol is over the moon with the stupendous success of Gadar 2. Reacting to the movie's success, Sunny had told Zoom in an interview, "I am indeed very happy. When we did the second part of Gadar, we never knew it would be so loved by the audience. Two whole generations have gone by since we did the first Gadar. And still, people are as excited as they were the first time. I am amazed and very very happy. We need some hits to keep the film industry on its feet".
