Gadar 2 Day Box Office Day 1 Prediction: Sunny Deol Set To Have The Most Stellar Opening Of His Career

Gadar 2 Day Box Office Day 1 Prediction: It's time to witness the hottest box office clash of 2023 as Bollywood's two biggest sequels, Gadar 2 and OMG 2, are set to release tomorrow, August 11.
The epic love saga has stirred massive buzz among audiences, especially in the mass circuits. As per reports, the film sold over 280k tickets. The film will see Sunny Deol and Amessha Patel Patel reprise their iconic characters - Tara Singh and Shakeena, after 22 years.
While viewers are showing great interest in Gadar 2, experts feel that it is going to be Sunny's biggest opening of his career.
Gadar 2 Day Box Office Day 1 Prediction
Even after years, Gadar has been able to connect with audiences, given the film's nostalgia. Directed by Anil Sharma, his son Utkarsh Sharma will be seen reprising his role as Sunny and Ameesha's son Jeete.
According to a report by The Economic Times, the cult movie is expected to have a bumper opening as its ticket sales have reached humongous numbers. It is poised to make around Rs 30 to 35 crore collection on its opening day.
Going by the prediction, if the film lands on this figure, it will become the highest first day opener of this year, second only to Pathaan. The weekend plus the Independence Day holiday are set to turn out to be profitable for the movie.
In another report by News18, trade analyst Komal Nahta said that moviegoers' first choice is Gadar 2. He then stated, "The advance booking of Gadar 2 is mind-boggling. I am pretty sure the film will earn anywhere between Rs 35-40 crore range on Day 1. The brunt of this will be borne by OMG 2 as the advances are barely 10 percent of the Sunny Deol starrer. So the opening of Akshay Kumar's film will be affected."
With a run-time of 2 hours and 50 minutes, Anil Sharma's and Sunny Deol's film, like its predecessor, is going to create unimaginable figures at the box office.
It's synopsis reads, "During the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, Tara Singh returns to Pakistan to bring his son, Charanjeet, back home."
