We are talking about Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2 and Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi starrer OMG 2. Both the movies had opened to rave responses from the audience and their box office collections have left everyone intrigued

Interestingly, Sunny Deol's return as Tara Singh in Gadar 2 has witnessed a massive response at the box office and it has managed enter the coveted Rs 400 crore club within just 12 days of release. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar's OMG 2 has been struggling at the box office and is yet to reach Rs 150 crore mark.

And now, according to a report published in Sacnilk, the 13th day collection of both Gadar 2 and OMG 2 will be witnessing a massive gap. Reportedly, while OMG 2 is likely to earn Rs 3 crore at the box office on day 13 and take the overall connection to Rs 123.62cr, Gadar 2 will be minting triple the business of Akshay starrer. Yes! As per Sacnilk, Gadar 2 will be earning Rs 10.08 cr today and take the overall collection to Rs 410.18cr.

It goes without saying that Gadar 2 has massively affected the business of Akshay's OMG 2. And while the Anil Sharma starrer continues a stronghold at the box office, it will be interesting to see if it will manage to achieve the Rs 500 crore mark in the coming days and beat Pathaan and Baahubali 2's lifetime collection. On the other hand, given the tough competition from Gadar 2, we wonder if OMG 2 will make it to Rs 150 crore mark.

On the other hand, Sunny Deol is overwhelmed with Gadar 2's success. Talking to Variety, Sunny stated, "The last I saw this kind of celebration happening was when 'Gadar' released and the people were enjoying and celebrating it. And after that, one is getting to see all this. I'm just on top of the world and feeling so happy". He also asserted that his character Tara Singh has become a superhero for the nation. "Now, it's become an Indian Marvel hero. Tara Singh has become a character who is backed by God and no other superpowers," Sunny added.
