Gadar 2 vs OMG2 Day 14 BO Prediction: Sunny’s Film Continues To CRUSH Akshay’s Film With 4 Times More Business

After a dull phase, the Indian box office has finally revived and is roaring loud these days courtesy of the phenomenal success of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2. The movie, which witnessed Sunny and Ameesha's return as Tara Singh and Sakina respectively, has opened to rave reviews from the audience and has taken the box office by a storm.

Interestingly, Gadar 2 witnessed a massive clash with Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi starrer OMG 2 and looks like the period action drama is unfazed by the clash. After all, it has been creating a havoc at the box office and has already stormed into the coveted Rs 400 cr club within just 12 days of release. On the other hand, Akshay's satirical comedy drama is struggling to survive at the box office.

For the uninitiated, Gadar 2 has around Rs 410 crore at the box office so far while OMG 2 minted around Rs 123 crores in 13 days. And with Gadar 2's strong hold at the box office, Akshay's film seems to be struggling to survive through the third weekend. Yes! Gadar 2 continues to crush OMG 2.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Gadar 2 is likely to mint Rs 9 crore on day 14 which is four times the business of Akshay's OMG 2. To note, OMG 2 will be struggling at Rs 2 crore on Day 14. Given Gadar 2's stronghold, looks like it will be throwing away OMG 2 out of the box office. It will be interesting to see if OMG 2 will be able to survive the third weekend.

Meanwhile, Sunny is overwhelmed with the love coming his way as Tara Singh. Talking to Variety, Sunny said that he is on top of the world with the stupendous success of Gadar 2. "Now, it's become an Indian Marvel hero. Tara Singh has become a character who is backed by God and no other superpowers," Sunny added.
