As
India
is
enjoying
the
festive
these
days
and
the
Indian
box
office
is
also
shining
with
new
releases
today.
To
note,
Tiger
Shroff
and
Kriti
Sanon
starrer
Ganapath
has
finally
hit
the
screens.
Directed
by
Vikas
Bahl,
the
movie
happens
to
be
a
dystopian
action
film
and
also
features
Amitabh
Bachchan
in
the
key
role.
The
trailer
of
the
movie
has
got
the
fans
excited
and
Ganapath
has
opened
to
a
mixed
response
so
far.
Interestingly,
Ganapath
is
having
a
box
office
clash
with
Yaariyan
2
which
features
Meezaan
Jafri,
Divya
Khosla
Kumar
and
Pearl
V
Puri
in
the
lead.
And
while
both
films
have
managed
to
create
a
substantial
buzz
among
the
fans,
there
have
been
speculations
about
their
box
office
performances
and
the
tough
fight
they
will
be
giving
each
other
at
the
ticket
windows.
According
to
a
report
published
in
Sacnilk,
Ganapath
will
be
having
an
opening
day
collection
of
Rs
4
crores
on
the
first
day.
To
note,
this
will
mark
Tiger's
lowest
opening
ever.
However,
it
has
managed
to
beat
Yaariyan
2
with
a
huge
gap.
Yes!
You
read
it
right.
Yaariyan
2
will
be
seen
struggling
to
make
an
opening
day
collection
of
Rs
1
crore
at
the
box
office
and
will
be
settling
at
Rs
0.50
crores.
It
will
be
interesting
to
see
how
Ganapath
and
Yaariyan
2
will
fare
in
the
coming
days.
Meanwhile,
Ganapath
is
grabbing
eyeballs
as
it
marks
Tiger
Shroff's
second
collaboration
with
Kriti
Sanon.
For
the
uninitiated,
Tiger
and
Kriti
had
earlier
collaborated
for
the
2014
release
Heropanti
which
also
marked
the
duo's
debut
film.
Interestingly,
Ganapath
is
also
making
heads
turn
for
its
mindboggling
acting
sequences
which
have
been
shot
in
Ladakh,
Vikas
got
candid
about
the
same
and
said,
"While
there
have
been
a
lot
of
films
that
have
shot
action
in
Ladakh
before,
we
got
really
lucky
as
we
shot
on
a
completely
new
terrain.
It
was
an
abandoned
town
about
Lamayuru
where
most
sequences
were
shot.
So
yes,
the
weather
conditions
were
unfriendly
and
erratic,
with
constant
dips
in
oxygen
levels.
But
Tiger,
Kriti
and
Rehman
sir
really
practised
hard
on
days
off
as
well
as
in
between
action
scenes,
in
spite
of
the
challenging
weather
conditions
and
low
oxygen
levels".
