Ganapath Box Office Collection Day 4 Prediction: Tiger’s Film FAILS The Crucial Monday Test; See Over 40% Drop

Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon, who made their Bollywood debut together with their 2014 release Heropanti, have been making headlines with their second collaboration Ganapath. Helmed by Vikas Bahl, this dystopian action thriller also features Amitabh Bachchan in the lead and has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

However, despite creating a substantial buzz in the town, Ganapath has failed to leave a mark on the audience. After recording the lowest opener for Tiger Shroff, Ganaath has failed to pass the crucial Monday test and has witnessed a massive drop in collections. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Ganapath has witnessed a drop of over 40 percent in collections on day 4

Reportedly, Ganapath will be raking in a collection of Rs 1.33 crores on its first Monday which will take the overall collection of the movie to Rs 8.36 crores. Interestingly, Ganapath has been facing a box office clash with Yaariyan 2 which features Meezaan Jafri, Divya Khosla Kumar and Pearl V Puri in the lead which also has been struggling at the box office.

Reportedly, Yaariyaan 2, which made an opening day collection of 50 lakhs, will be making an earning of Rs 25 lakhs on day 4. It will be interesting to see how Ganapath and Yaariyan 2 will fare in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Ganapath is also making heads turn for its mindboggling acting sequences which have been shot in Ladakh, Vikas got candid about the same and said, "While there have been a lot of films that have shot action in Ladakh before, we got really lucky as we shot on a completely new terrain. It was an abandoned town about Lamayuru where most sequences were shot. So yes, the weather conditions were unfriendly and erratic, with constant dips in oxygen levels. But Tiger, Kriti and Rehman sir really practised hard on days off as well as in between action scenes, in spite of the challenging weather conditions and low oxygen levels".
