Ganapath Box Office Collection Day 8 Prediction: Tiger’s Film FAILS To Mint 1 Crore As Tejas Hits The Screens

Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon starrer Ganapath A Hero Is Born has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. The movie, which has been directed by Vikas Bahl, happens to be a dystopian action thriller and created a massive buzz in the town with its impressive posters, teaser and trailers. However, despite a substantial buzz and a stellar cast, Ganapath failed to make the cash registers ring.

Also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ganapath opened to average reviews and has been struggling at the box office since the first day. In fact, this Vikas Bahl directorial has emerged as the lowest opener for Tiger Shroff in his career of around a decade. And while Ganapath has completed a week of release, the movie's struggle continues.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Tiger Shroff has been witnessing a continuous drop in collections. In fact, as Kangana Ranaut's first aerial action film Tejas has hit the theatres today, it seems to be giving Ganapath a tough time. Reportedly, Ganapath will be minting Rs 11 lakhs today (day 8/ second Friday) which will take the overall collection of the movie to Rs 12.01 crores.

With Tejas creating a massive buzz, it will be interesting to see if Ganapath will manage to survive at the box office until the next big release of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3.

Meanwhile, Ganapath is also making heads turn for its mindboggling acting sequences which have been shot in Ladakh, Vikas got candid about the same and said, "While there have been a lot of films that have shot action in Ladakh before, we got really lucky as we shot on a completely new terrain. It was an abandoned town about Lamayuru where most sequences were shot. So yes, the weather conditions were unfriendly and erratic, with constant dips in oxygen levels. But Tiger, Kriti and Rehman sir really practised hard on days off as well as in between action scenes, in spite of the challenging weather conditions and low oxygen levels".
