Jawan Advance Booking: Fans in India can't keep calm as Jawan's advance bookings have finally opened in India. The tickets for the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer are selling rapidly.

The film is set to blow the Indian box office, which is evident with the massive number of tickets being sold only on day one. Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee Kumar's first ever collaboration has been generating significant buzz for all the right reasons.

In less than a week to release on September 7, the advance ticket bookings for Jawan opened on September 1st, and within 24 hours, it had already set new records.

By 9 pm on September 1st, the film had sold a remarkable 1.24 lakh tickets in major national cinema chains, and it's important to note that this is solely for the film's opening day.

According to the data available, Jawan's started at 10 am on Friday and sold 1.18 lakh tickets, which were worth Rs 4 crore, by 3 pm on the same day.

By night, it sold 1,24,000 tickets across the three major multiplex chains, while its Tamil version was a bit low compared to the Hindi version, which was around 3,365 tickets, worth Rs 15-20 lakh. Jawan's Telugu version has sold 1,097 tickets.

Jawan is Shah Rukh's second film in 2023, and earlier this year,the superstar broke several first box office records with Pathaan. In January, Pathaan also earned Rs 32 crore in advance booking, by far the highest for any Hindi film to do so.

Pathan had sold approximately 1,71,500 tickets at the same time as its release. Meanwhile, it is expected that Jawan will sell approximately 3 lakh tickets for the opening day within 24 hours.

Jawan has also surpassed Salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan's total advance booking figure. The family drama movie that was released in April sold tickets valued at Rs 3.39 crore.

Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan shared on Friday that Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan is likely to create history and also updated about the advance booking. He wrote, "Jawan advance bookings are on fire (fire emoji). Off to a splendid start after Jawan trailer. Sold 20.26K tickets in the last one hour from BookMyShow portal in India. Jawan is all set to become the 2nd ₹100 crore opener for Shah Rukh Khan after Pathaan. That will make him the first-ever actor to achieve the feat in Bollywood history."

Written and directed by Atlee, Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, and Riddhi Dogra in key roles. The film is backed by Red Chillies Entertainment and will release worldwide in theatres on September 7th, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
