Jawan Box Office Collection Day 10: SRK’s Film Dethrones Gadar 2 On 2nd Saturday; Creates Another Record

Shah Rukh Khan is the ultimate king of Bollywood and he has proved it time and again. After ruling the industry for 29 years, SRK made a comeback early this year after a hiatus of three years and took the box office by a storm with Pathaan. The movie created new box office records and left everyone in awe.

And Shah Rukh Khan is smashing his own records at the box office and giving a tough time to other big releases with his recent release Jawan. This Atlee directorial has emerged as one of the biggest releases of the year and it has managed to set the box office on fire.

From a phenomenal start to becoming the fastest Indian movie to cross Rs 700 crore worldwide and the fastest Hindi movie to cross Rs 400 crores, Jawan's records have left everyone amazed. And now, as the movie is in its second weekend, it is set to witness a massive jump in the collections and is inching towards Rs 450 crores.

Reportedly, Jawan will be raking in Rs 37.84 crores today (day 10/second Saturday). If the reports turned out to be true, Jawan has managed to create another record at the box office. This time, SRK's film has dethroned Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 with a major gap to become the movie with the highest second Saturday collection. For the uninitiated, Gadar 2 had minted Rs 31.07 crore on its second Saturday.

Needless to say, it is a big achievement for Jawan and there is no stopping for the film as of now. Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan is overwhelmed with the love coming his way with Jawan. Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter (now X), SRK tweeted, "Wow have to take time out and thank each and every Fan Club and all of you who have gone so happily in the theatres and even outside. So overwhelmed will surely do the needful as soon as I get my breath back in a day or so. Uff!! Love u for loving #Jawan".
