Jawan Box Office Collection Day 11: SRK’s Film Smashes Sunny’s Gadar 2’s Collection; Inches Towards Rs 500 Cr

Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan has been one of the biggest releases of the year and its phenomenal journey at the box office is a proof. The Atlee directorial marks the filmmaker's first collaboration with King Khan and also stars Priyamani, Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra etc in the lead while Vijay Sethupathi plays the role of lead antagonist.

Jawan has been roaring loud at the box office and proving its mettle every day. What started with a thunderous start, is now making headlines with new box office records almost every day. And while Jawan is running strong during the second weekend, it has managed to create new records and even crush its biggest competitor - Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2.

According to reports published in Sacnilk, Jawan will be making a collection of Rs 35.73 on its day 11. Interestingly, the impressive second Sunday collections will take the overall collections of the movie to Rs 475.62 crores. As Jawan is inching towards Rs 500 crore mark, it has managed to beat Gadar 2's day 11 collections. For the uninitiated, Gadar 2 had minted Rs 13.5 crores on the day 11 of release. In fact, Jawan has recorded the highest day 11 collections after beating KGF Chapter 2 which minted Rs 22.68 crores on its day 11 of release.

Given the stupendous growth of Jawan, this Shah Rukh Khan directorial has a complete chance of beating Gadar 2 and Pathaan to become the second highest grossing Hindi film ever.

Meanwhile, speculations are rife about Jawan crossing the Rs 500 crore mark soon for its lifetime collection. If the reports turned out to be true, it will help Shah Rukh Khan create a history and become the first Bollywood actor to have two movies with a joint collection of over Rs 1000 crore films in a year.
