Jawan Box Office Collection Day 13: SRK’s Film Creates History As It Crosses 500Cr; To Surpass Gadar 2 Soon

Jawan Box Office Collection: Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara's recent release Jawan is roaring loud at the box office and there are no second thoughts about it. The movie, which was helmed by Atlee, has been one of the biggest releases of the year and has taken over the box office like a giant tsunami. In fact, Jawan is emerging as an unopposed winner at the box office almost every day.

Jawan Crosses Rs 500 Crore Mark In India

And while Jawan has been shattering records, it has a new record added to its name. After a phenomenal second weekend at the box office, Jawan has now entered the coveted Rs 500 crore club. Yes! You read it right. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Jawan raked in Rs 12.16 crores on day 13 (second Tuesday) of release and it took the overall collection of the Atlee directorial to Rs 505.54 crores.

Jawan Creates History In India

Interestingly, Jawan is set to create history today in India as it is entering Rs 500 crores club. Yes! Jawan has become the fastest Hindi film to cross Rs 500 crores India which happens to be in 13 days. To note, Jawan has managed to dethrone Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 which had managed to cross the Rs 500 crore mark in 24 days.

Jawan To Surpass Gadar 2 Soon

This isn't all. As Jawan continues to be strong at the box office, it is likely to surpass Gadar 2 soon which is currently struggling at Rs 520 crore. On the other hand, reports are also rife that Jawan is likely to surpass the lifetime collection of Pathaan which happens to be Rs 525 crores (Hindi).

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is overwhelmed with the love coming his way with Jawan. Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter (now X), SRK tweeted, "Wow have to take time out and thank each and every Fan Club and all of you who have gone so happily in the theatres and even outside. So overwhelmed will surely do the needful as soon as I get my breath back in a day or so. Uff!! Love u for loving #Jawan".
