Jawan Box Office Collection Day 14: SRK’s Film To Surpass Gadar 2, Pathaan To Become Highest Grosser In 1 Day

Shah Rukh Khan's recent release Jawan has been one of the biggest releases of the year which has set the box office on fire since the first day and there are no second thoughts about it. The Atlee directorial has been garnering rave reviews from the audience and has been shattering box office records almost every day.
Interestingly, Jawan not just witnessed a thunderous opening at the box office, but has become the fastest movie to cross Rs 100cr, Rs 200cr, Rs 300cr, Rs400cr and more. In fact, this Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara directorial added another feather to the cap after it crossed Rs 500cr mark early this week and became the fastest movie to enter the coveted Rs 500 crore club.
And while Jawan is going strong at the box office, it has reportedly witnessed a steady growth on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi and will remain a stronghold on day 14 as well. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Jawan is likely to mint Rs 12 crores today (day 14). If the reports turned out to be true, it will take the overall collection of Jawan to Rs 520.06 Crores.
Given the steady growth of the Atee directorial, it is evident that it will not just beat Gadar 2's overall collection so far, but will also surpass Pathaan's lifetime collection of Rs 525 crores tomorrow. Interestingly Jawan will emerge as the second highest earning movie after Baahubali 2 which is another big feat. It will be interesting to see which other records Jawan will shatter in the coming days.
Meanwhile, given the phenomenal success of Jawan, there have been reports about a sequel to the movie. Reacting to the reports, Atlee told Pinkvilla, "Every film of mine has an open end but to date, I have never thought of doing a sequel to any of my films. For Jawan, if anything strong comes to me, I will make a part two. I have kept an open end and I can come up with a sequel now or later. But definitely will come up with a sequel to Jawan one day".
