Jawan Box Office Collection Day 2: After unprecedented buzz and anticipation, Shah Rukh Khan's vigilante thriller movie Jawan was finally released worldwide on September 7. The film created history as it became the biggest opening Hindi film.

Directed by Atlee, Jawan took cinema halls across the nation by storm as fans were seen dancing and celebrating the film's release. It collected a monstrous 75 crore on opening day, the biggest Bollywood opener of all time.

Packed with some stellar performances and a gripping storyline, Jawan received acclaim not only from fans but from critics as well. From cutting cakes to dancing outside theatres on dhol, the madness at the release of Jawan was never seen before.

On day 1, the film earned a staggering 75 crore. However, it saw a slight drop on day 2 by earning approximately Rs 53 crore. Despite this, the actioner has entered the 100 crore club in the domestic market in just two days.

It recorded 53 crore nett on day 2 in all languages. On Friday, September 8, Jawan made Rs 65.5 cr in Hindi, 5.3 crore in Tamil, and 3.7 crore in Telugu, amassing Rs 53 crore in total.

Hence, the numbers take Jawan's two-day collection to Rs 127.50 crore in India. It had a 42.51% Hindi occupancy on Friday. Its worldwide figure stands at 129.6 million.

About Jawan

Jawan marked Nayanthara's Bollywood debut, while SRK's South debut, Vijay Sethupathi, is seen in a negative role. While Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt are seen in special cameo appearances.

The film also has an ensemble cast, including Sunil Grover, Sanya Malhotra, Yogi Babu, Priyamani, Riddhi Dogra, and others.

Its synopsis reads: "A man is driven by a personal vendetta to rectify the wrongs in society, while keeping a promise made years ago. He comes up against a monstrous outlaw with no fear, who has caused extreme suffering to many."
