Jawan Box Office Collection Day 21: Shah Rukh Khan’s Film Stays Strong On 3rd Wednesday; Inches Towards 600Cr

Shah Rukh Khan has proved that 2023 is his year in every way possible. The superstar, who made a comeback with Pathaan early this year, revived the box office as the Siddharth Anand directorial was a massive hit. And now, King Khan is all over the headlines for his recent release Jawan which has been ruling the box office in India and worldwide like a giant tsunami.

Directed by Atlee, Jawan featured Shah Rukh, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone etc in the lead and was touted to be a massy entertainer. The movie has been the talk of the town ever since the movie was announced and it has opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics alike. And while Jawan set the box office on fire since the first day, it continues to remain strong and steady in the third week.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Jawan will be seeing a steady growth on its day 21 of release. The reports suggested that Jawan will be raking in around Rs 5.2 crores on day 21 (third Wednesday) which will take its overall collection to Rs 576.52 crores. It is evident that Jawan, which has emerged as the highest grossing Hindi movie of all times, is moving strongly towards crossing the Rs 600 crore mark and becoming the fastest movie to achieve the feat.

Meanwhile, given the phenomenal success of Jawan, there have been reports about a sequel to the movie. Reacting to the reports, Atlee told Pinkvilla, "Every film of mine has an open end but to date, I have never thought of doing a sequel to any of my films. For Jawan, if anything strong comes to me, I will make a part two. I have kept an open end and I can come up with a sequel now or later. But definitely will come up with a sequel to Jawan one day".
