Jawan Box Office Collection Day 23: SRK’s Film Stays Strong Ahead Of 4th Weekend; Inches Close To 600Cr

Shah Rukh Khan is the ultimate box office king and he has proved it time and again. The superstar has given several iconic hits and the year 2023 has especially been the year of SRK's magic. It started with the phenomenal box office success of Siddharth Anand's Pathaan and the magic was later carried forward by King Khan's recent release Jawan.

Directed by Atlee, Jawan has been a massy entertainer which featured Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead and opened to rave reviews from the audience. In fact, given the massive buzz, Jawan became the highest opener of all times especially in Hindi films and took over the box office by a storm.

And now, as Jawan has entered its fifth week, it continues to have an unstoppable run at the box office. Despite a dip during the third week (especially during the week days), Jawan has managed to have a strong hold at the box office ahead of the fifth weekend and earned a decent amount on day 23 (fourth Friday).

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Jawan will be raking in a collection of Rs 5 crores on today (Day 22/ fourth Thursday). If the reports turned out to be true, the overall collection of Jawan will now stand at Rs 586.21 crores. It is evident that Jawan is acing towards Rs 600 crore mark and given the strong hold and spike in collections during the weekend, the Atlee directorial is likely to cross the mark in the fourth weekend itself.

Meanwhile, with the phenomenal success of Pathaan and Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan has become the only Bollywood actor to make an collection of over Rs 1000 crore at the box office in one year. But his box office run in 2023 is yet to witness another milestone as he is coming up with another big release on Christmas. We are talking about Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki which will also feature Taapsee Pannu in the lead.
