Jawan Box Office Collection Day 28: When Shah Rukh Khan collaborated with ace filmmaker Atlee, everyone knew that a mega-blocbuster is about it happen. Standing true to the expectations, the actor-director duo's first collaboration Jawan came as a giant tsunami at the box office which not only crushed other films coming its way but also went on to set new records.

Also starring Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra etc in the lead, Jawan was out and out a massy entertainer. It went on to become the highest opener in Hindi to highest grossing Hindi film and registered several records to its name. And now, almost a month after its release, Jawan is slowing down at the box office.

Recently, the Atlee directorial witnessed its lowest collection ever on the 4th Tuesday wherein it made Rs 2.23 crores. And as per the report published in Sacnilk, Jawan continues to fall ahead of its fifth weekend. Reportedly, Jawan will be making a collection of Rs 2.09 crores today (day 28). If the reports turned out to be true, the overall collection of Jawan will stand at Rs 615.99 crores

Interestingly, Jawan has slowed down its pace ahead of the release of two much talked about movies Bhumi Pednekar and Shehnaaz Gill starrer Thank You For Coming and Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra's Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue which will be hitting the screens on October 6.

Given the phenomenal success of Jawan, there have been reports about a sequel to the movie. Reacting to the reports, Atlee told Pinkvilla, "Every film of mine has an open end but to date, I have never thought of doing a sequel to any of my films. For Jawan, if anything strong comes to me, I will make a part two. I have kept an open end and I can come up with a sequel now or later. But definitely will come up with a sequel to Jawan one day".
