Jawan Box Office Collection Day 30: Shah Rukh Khan’s Film Slows Down As It Inches Towards Rs 620 Crores

Shah Rukh Khan, who was missing in action for years, has proved why he is the king of Bollywood as he took over the box office like a giant storm in 2023. The superstar started the year with Siddharth Anand's Pathaan which turned out to be one of the biggest hits of the year. And now his recent release Jawan has been shattering all the box office records.

Directed by Atlee, Jawan also features Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra etc and has been a massy entertainer. After opening with rave reviews and highest opening day collection, Jawan has managed to rule the box office for almost a month and even became the highest grossing hindi film ever.

And now, after a month of its release, Jawan is slowing down is witnessing its lowest collection almost everyday. Although it is inching towards Rs 520 crores marks, Jawan is struggling to make Rs 2 crores at the box office. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Jawan will be making a collection of Rs 1.20 crores today (day 30) which will take the overall collection of the movie to Rs 618.67 crores.

Interestingly, the fall in Jawan collection has also been an effect of the recent releases - Akshay Kumar's Mission Raniganj and Bhumi Pednekar's Thank You For Coming.

Meanwhile, given the phenomenal success of Jawan, there have been reports about a sequel to the movie. Reacting to the reports, Atlee told Pinkvilla, "Every film of mine has an open end but to date, I have never thought of doing a sequel to any of my films. For Jawan, if anything strong comes to me, I will make a part two. I have kept an open end and I can come up with a sequel now or later. But definitely will come up with a sequel to Jawan one day".
