Jawan Box Office Collection Day 31: SRK’s Film Crosses 620Cr; Creates History Amid Mission Raniganj-TYFC Clash

When Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee collaborated for the first time, everyone knew that it is going to be a mega blockbuster and Jawan did stand true to all the expectations. Also starring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani etc, Jawan is touted to be a massy entertainer that has been winning hearts since the first day.
In fact, Jawan has taken over the box office like a giant tsunami and set new benchmarks at the box office. From becoming the highest opener at the box office to becoming the fastest movie to cross Rs 100 crore, Rs 200 crore, Rs 300 crore, Rs 400 crore, Rs 500 crore, Rs 600 crore and also becoming the highest grossing Hindi film ever, Jawan has registered several box office records to its name.
And while the movie is in its fifth week now, it continues to rule with its charm and has crossed a new milestone. According to a report published in Sanilk, Jawan will be witnessing slight growth during the fifth weekend and has crossed the Rs 620 crores mark. The Atlee directorial will be raking in Rs 2.05 crores at the box office today (day 31) which will take the overall collection of the movie to Rs 620.73 crores.
Interestingly, Jawan achieved the milestone amid the box office clash between Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra's Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue and Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor's Thank You For Coming. It will be interesting to see what other records Jawan will be making in the coming day.
Meanwhile, given the phenomenal success of Jawan, there have been reports about a sequel to the movie. Reacting to the reports, Atlee told Pinkvilla, "Every film of mine has an open end but to date, I have never thought of doing a sequel to any of my films. For Jawan, if anything strong comes to me, I will make a part two. I have kept an open end and I can come up with a sequel now or later. But definitely will come up with a sequel to Jawan one day".
