Jawan Box Office Collection Day 36: SRK’s Film Remains Unstoppable; To Cross 630Cr This Weekend In Week 6

Shah Rukh Khan is in a celebratory mood these days and rightfully so. After all, the year 2023 has turned out to be quite favourable for him. After the phenomenal success of Siddharth Anand's Pathaan early this year, King Khan is now basking in the victory of his recent release Jawan at the box office. Directed by Atlee, the mass entertainer also featured Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani etc in key roles.

The movie witnessed the highest opening for a Hindi movie and its journey of over a month, Jawan has managed to break several records and set new benchmarks at the box office. And now, while new releases have taken over the ticket windows, Jawan has still managed to maintain a steady and strong hold at the box office.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, as Jawan entered the sixth week, the movie is inching towards Rs 630 crores mark. Reportedly, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer will be earning Rs 1.01 crores today (day 36/ sixth thursday) which will take the overall collection of the movie to Rs 628.09 crore. Given its steady growth, Jawan is likely to cross the Rs 630 crores during this weekend.

Given the phenomenal success of Jawan, there have been reports about a sequel to the movie. Reacting to the reports, Atlee told Pinkvilla, "Every film of mine has an open end but to date, I have never thought of doing a sequel to any of my films. For Jawan, if anything strong comes to me, I will make a part two. I have kept an open end and I can come up with a sequel now or later. But definitely will come up with a sequel to Jawan one day".

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh will also be coming with his third release this year which happens to be Rajkumar Hirani directorial Dunki. Also starring Taapsee Pannu in the lead, Dunki will hit the theatres on Christmas this year.
