Jawan Box Office Collection Day 37: SRK’s Film Sees Major Jump Of 294% Ahead Of 6th Weekend; Crosses 630Cr

Shah Rukh Khan, who is touted to be the king of Bollywood, has proved that he is also the ultimate king of the box office as well. The superstar had a great start of the year 2023 with the release of Siddharth Anand's Pathaan which also featured Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead. And now, Shah Rukh is making headlines for his recent release Jawan.

Directed by ace south director Atlee, the mass entertainer featured Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Priyamani and Sanya Malhotra and had opened to rave reviews from the audience. Jawan had emerged as the biggest Hindi opener of all times, and even turned out to be highest grossing Hindi film ever.

And while it's been over a month since Jawan hit the theatres, it continues to win millions of hearts. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Jawan will be seeing a major hike in the collection of around 294% ahead of its 6th weekend. Reportedly, Jawan is likely to mint Rs 3 crores on day 37 (6th Friday) which will take the overall collection to Rs 630.38 crores.

Needless to say, Jawan continues to be unstoppable in the 6th week as well and has become the fastest Hindi film to cross the mark. And given its strong hold at the box office, Jawan is likely to make new records at the box office in the coming days.

Given the phenomenal success of Jawan, there have been reports about a sequel to the movie. Reacting to the reports, Atlee told Pinkvilla, "Every film of mine has an open end but to date, I have never thought of doing a sequel to any of my films. For Jawan, if anything strong comes to me, I will make a part two. I have kept an open end and I can come up with a sequel now or later. But definitely will come up with a sequel to Jawan one day".
