King Khan started the year with a blockbuster in the form of Pathaan and now, he is creating ripples at the theatres with his new release Jawan.

JAWAN FASTEST FILM TO ENTER RS 300 CRORE

When Jawan hit the silver screens, trade experts claimed that the film would do amazingly well. Little did anyone know that the Atlee directorial would shatter all box office records and set the cash registers jingling. The masala entertainer, which also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, cemented SRK's legacy and showcased why he is the 'king of the box office'. Be it the Hindi-speaking belts, Tamil-Telugu markers or international territories, the movie has raked in big moolah everywhere.

Taran Adarsh took to social media to share the day five box office collection of Jawan and reveal that the film has entered the Rs 300 crore club, if we combine the numbers of all domestic markers. He mentioned that the flick managed to do so in six days.

While Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 crossed the Rs 300 crore mark in Hindi markets on Day 8, Jawan will achieve the feat on day six, if we take the numbers in the northen belt where Bollywood is popular. JAWAN BEATS PATHAAN AT BOX OFFICE- HERE'S HOW

It's SRK vs SRK as his new release is breaking box office records. If we compare the numbers, Jawan beat Pathaan on its first Monday as the former collected more money than Siddharth Anand directorial. Pathaan co-starring John Abraham and Deepika Padukone earned over Rs 25 crore on the first Monday while Jawan minted over Rs 32 crore, taking its box office collection to over 310 crore in the first days in India.

Jawan earned 22 percent more than YRF's action thriller, which released in January 2023. The film holds the record for the highest grossing Hindi movie but if Jawan continues to maintain the momentum, Shah Rukh Khan might break his own record.
