Jawan Box Office Collection Day 6: Shah Rukh’s Film Fails To Beat Sunny’s Gadar 2 THIS Record By A Huge Margin

Shah Rukh Khan has treated his fans with a perfect massy entertainer with Jawan lately and his fans are all gaga about this massy entertainer. Helmed by Atlee and also starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, Jawan has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year and there has been a massive buzz about the box office collection of the movie.

And while Jawan has been witnessing a phenomenal run at the box office, it is time and again being compared to Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel's recent release Gadar 2 which turned out to be a massive hit at the box office. Amid this tough competition, Jawan has managed to carve a niche for itself and has been shattering records every day.

After passing the crucial Monday test with decent numbers, Jawan is likely to witness a steady run in the collection on day 6. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Jawan will be collecting around Rs 27.56 crore at the box office on day 6 of release taking the overall collection to Rs 344 crore . To note, the Atlee directorial had raked in Rs 27.8 crore (Hindi) on day 5 of release.

While the estimates are out, if the reports turned out to be true, Jawan has failed to beat Gadar 2's record by a huge margin. Yes! You read it right. For the uninitiated, Gadar 2 created the record of highest collection on the first Tuesday with an impressive collection of Rs 55.4 crore. And while Jawan has been beating several records of Gadar 2, it has clearly failed to beat this major record of Sunny Deol starrer.

Meanwhile, Jawan is expected to be crossing the Rs 500 crore mark soon and will be surpassing the lifetime collection of Pathaan (Rs 525 crore) in the coming days. In fact, the media reports also suggest that Jawan will be crossing the Rs 1000 crore mark soon and if the reports turned out to be true, it will help Shah Rukh Khan create a history and become the first Bollywood actor to have two Rs 1000 crore films in a year.
