Jawan Box Office Collection Day 6: Shah Rukh Khan’s Film To Beat Gadar 2’s THIS Record Today

Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan has been one of the biggest and most anticipated releases of the year and there are no second thoughts about it. The massy action thriller marks King Khan's first collaboration with Atlee, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi and it has been doing wonders at the box office post its release.

Given the massive buzz surrounding Jawan, the movie has opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics. In fact, the box office journey of this Atlee directorial narrates the story of its success. Jawan witnessed a phenomenal opening at the box office and emerged as the highest opener with a collection of Rs 65 crores. Ever since then, Jawan has been shattering records at the box office.

From the highest opening day collection, highest third day collection to fastest movie to cross Rs 200 crore, fastest movie to cross Rs 300 crore and more, the list of Jawan's box office records is quite long. And now, Jawan is set to make another record at the box office.

Yes! After maintaining a strong hold at the box office and with a collection of Rs 27.50 crore on day 6 which took the total collection to Rs 344.16 crore, Jawan is now set to become the fastest movie to cross Rs 350 crore mark today (day 6).

To note, Jawan will be beating Pathaan and Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 to create the record. For the uninitiated, Pathaan crossed the Rs 350 crore mark on day 9 while Gadar 2 did so on day 10 of release.

Needless to say, Jawan is giving a tough competition to Gadar 2. In fact, speculations are rife about Jawan crossing the Rs 500 crore mark soon for its lifetime collection and even the Rs 1000 crore worldwide. If the reports turned out to be true, it will help Shah Rukh Khan create a history and become the first Bollywood actor to have two Rs 1000 crore films in a year.
