Jawan Box Office Collection Day 6: Shah Rukh Khan Beats Akshay Kumar To Create THIS New Record

Shah Rukh Khan has been in his best form in the box office game this year and there are no second thoughts about it. After making a grand comeback with Pathaan early this year, Shah Rukh Khan is now making headlines for his recent release Jawan. Helmed by Atlee, Jawan has been one of the most anticipated movies of the year for several reasons.

Not just it will have Shah Rukh boasting different looks, Jawan also marks King Khan's first collaboration with Atlee, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. And after creating immense buzz in the town, Jawan has taken the box office like a giant tsunami and is leaving no stone unturned to shatter records.

While Jawan has been giving a tough time to Gadar 2 and Dream Girl 2 at the box office, it is reported that given the phenomenal success of the movie, Shah Rukh Khan has managed to create a new record at the box office. Yes! According to a report published in Sacnilk, Shah Rukh became the only Bollywood actor with the highest net collection at the Indian box office in a single year.

To note, Pathaan made a collection of around Rs 544 crores net while as per the reports by Sacnilk, Jawan's collection on day 6 (today) stands at Rs 347.58 crores nett. This takes the combined total to around Rs 891.58 crores for SRK in a year. Interestingly, SRK has managed to beat Akshay Kumar who held the record with a collection of around Rs 775 crores nett with four releases in 2019.

Meanwhile, there is a report that Jawan is likely to hit Rs 500 crore mark and if the reports turned out to be true, SRK will create another record as he will become the first Bollywood actor to have 1000+ crore collection in a year.
