Jawan Box Office Collection: Shah Rukh Khan To Create History With Atlee Movie; Become 1st Actor To Score...

Shah Rukh Khan has been all over the headlines these days and rightfully so. After all, his latest release Jawan has been doing wonders at the box office. Helmed by Atlee, Jawan is touted to be a mass entertainer which also features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. While the movie marks Shah Rukh's first collaboration with the South stars, it has opened to rave reviews.

Interestingly, Jawan marks Shah Rukh's second biggest release of the year 2023. Earlier he had started the year on a successful note with Pathaan along with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. And while the movie had raked in over Rs 500 crore at the box office in India and Rs 1000 crore mark overall, Jawan is also on its way to raking in Rs 500 crore in the coming days.

In fact, given the stupendous run of Jawan, there are speculations about the movie to enter the coveted Rs 1000 crore club soon. Well, as Jawan is enjoying a successful run at the box office, if the speculations turned out to be true, it will help Shah Rukh Khan create a history and become the first Bollywood actor to have two Rs 1000 crore films in a year. Earlier, SS Rajamouli held the record of having two Rs 1000 crore films to his name with Baahubali 2 and RRR.

Well, it will be interesting to see if Jawan will help Shah Rukh create this magnificent history. As of now, Jawan is creating history at the box office as it has become the fastest Bollywood from to cross Rs 200 crore mark in three days of release and is likely to cross Rs 300 crore mark on day 5 beating Pathaan once again which crossed the mark on day 6.

Needless to say, Jawan tsunami has taken over the box office in style. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is overwhelmed with the phenomenal response to Jawan. Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter (now X), SRK tweeted, "Wow have to take time out and thank each and every Fan Club and all of you who have gone so happily in the theatres and even outside. So overwhelmed will surely do the needful as soon as I get my breath back in a day or so. Uff!! Love u for loving #Jawan".
