Jawan Box Office Collection Day 5 Prediction: SRK’s Film Crosses Rs 300cr Mark; Beats Gadar 2 To Create Record

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan, which also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead, has been one of the biggest releases of the year. Helmed by Atlee, the movie is touted to be a mass entertainer which has been winning hearts since the day of release. And after an impressive start at the box office with a collection of Rs 65 crores, Jawan continues to go strong at the box office.
Jawan witnessed a phenomenal opening weekend collection wherein it recorded the highest first Saturday and first Sunday collection. Needless to say, Jawan has been unstoppable and continues to soar high at the box office. And now, as per a report published in Sacnilk, Jawan is set to create another record today (day 5). Yes! You read it right.
After becoming the fastest movie to cross Rs 200 crore mark at the box office, Jawan has now become the fastest movie to cross Rs 300 crore mark. Yes! The Atlee directorial has managed to beat Pathaan and enter the coveted Rs 300 crore mark on day 5 itself. For the uninitiated, Pathaan had crossed the mark on day 7 while Sunny Deol's Gadar 2, which was another blockbuster hit of the year, entered the prestigious Rs 300 crore club on day 8.
As per Sacnilk, Jawan will be minting Rs 30 crore on day 5 of release. The numbers have come as a surprise as Jawan has witnessed a massive drop on its first Monday and failed to beat Gadar 2 which had minted Rs 38.7 crore on its Monday. Although the official numbers are yet to be out, if the reports turned out to be true, it will take the collection of Jawan to Rs 316.56 crore. Given the phenomenal performance of Jawan at the box office, it is evident that it is likely to cross the lifetime collection of Pathaan (Rs 525 crore) this week.
Interestingly, there are speculations about Jawan crossing the Rs 1000 crore mark. If the speculations turned out to be true, it will help Shah Rukh Khan create a history and become the first Bollywood actor to have two Rs 1000 crore films in a year. Earlier, SS Rajamouli held the record of having two Rs 1000 crore films to his name with Baahubali 2 and RRR.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is overwhelmed with the phenomenal response to Jawan. Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter (now X), SRK tweeted, "Wow have to take time out and thank each and every Fan Club and all of you who have gone so happily in the theatres and even outside. So overwhelmed will surely do the needful as soon as I get my breath back in a day or so. Uff!! Love u for loving #Jawan".
