Jawan Day 1 Box Office Collection: As the countdown to September 7 begins, the anticipation around Jawan has risen steeply. Headlined by the charismatic Shah Rukh Khan, the action-drama film is just two days away from its grand release.

Following suit, Shah Rukh is all set for his second consecutive hit this year with Jawan. Fans are patiently waiting to witness the spectacle that has been promised to them in the trailer. While the film's team has left no stone unturned to amplify the hype around the vigilante thriller, it has already outdone Pathaan and Gadar 2 in advance booking.

While this spectacular figure guarantees a staggering opening, Filmibeat exclusively spoke to producer and film business expert Girish Johar, who gave us some insights on the impending business of Jawan.

Asserting a strong start for Jawan at the box office, Mr Johar stated that the film has remarkable traction. He said, "Advanced bookings are very good overseas. I'm expecting around 4-5 cr on day one in international markets, while in Hindi, approximately 60-75 crore net at the domestic box office. So, day 1 is expected to close around 100 cr."

He also added that Pathaan is the highest grosser till date, and Jawan is going to surpass it.

When asked about how Jawan's pull will be in the regional languages, Johar said, "Shah Rukh Khan knows that he already conquered the Hindi and overseas belts. He's a king over there. So what he's trying to do is grow his market and his fan base."

He further added, "Jawan also has some big names of south film industry, like Nayanthara, Anirudh, and Vijay Sethupathi, who have a different level of craze. The film also has some surprising appearances. This will help him make inroads into these southern markets unlike any other Hindi film."

Hailing Shah Rukh Khan as a smart and intelligent actor and a businessman, Mr Johar applauded the strategy behind bringing all the prolific individuals from the Southern industry together.

He concluded by saying, "Southern markets are a critical point, and whatever everybody has been thinking, Shah Rukh has executed that. So he's just trying to go inroads into their hearts as well." He also mentioned that in the regional languages, Jawan's opening collection might go beyond 30 crore.

Jawan marks Shah Rukh and Tamil filmmaker Atlee's first collaboration and Nayanthara's Bollywood debut. SRK will be seen in a dual role, which is a treat for fans.
