Jawan Day 18 Advance Booking Report: SRK’s Film Sees Massive Jump During 3rd Weekend As It Moves Towards 550cr

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan, which has been one of the biggest releases of the year, refuses to slow down at the box office. Helmed by Atlee, the massy entertainer has been roaring loud at the box office and fans have been in awe of the storyline and the stellar cast which includes King Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone etc.

Interestingly, in its run of two weeks, Jawan has emerged as the highest grossing Hindi film after surpassing the collection of Gadar 2 and beating the lifetime collection of Pathnaan. And while Jawan is winning hearts, it has been witnessing a continuous drop in footfalls during the second week. But looks like the situation has changed during the third weekend.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, the advance booking report of Jawan for day 18 is out and the Atlee directorial has witnessed a massive hike in footfalls during the third weekend as the movie is inching towards Rs 550 crores mark.

Meanwhile, there are reports that Jawan is set to cross the Rs 1000 crore mark soon at the worldwide box office. While Jawan continues to be unstoppable it will soon be helping Shah Rukh Khan script history as he will become the first actor to score over Rs 2000 crore in a year at the box office.

Given the phenomenal success of Jawan, there have been reports about a sequel to the movie. Reacting to the reports, Atlee told Pinkvilla, "Every film of mine has an open end but to date, I have never thought of doing a sequel to any of my films. For Jawan, if anything strong comes to me, I will make a part two. I have kept an open end and I can come up with a sequel now or later. But definitely will come up with a sequel to Jawan one day".
