Jawan Box Office Day 2 Prediction: SRK’s Film Shines After Thunderous Start; Did It Beat Day 1 Collection?

If you are a Shah Rukh Khan fan, the month of September has certainly started on an exciting note for you. After all, the much anticipated release Jawan has finally hit the theatres on September 7. The movie was a much awaited release of the year and there has been a substantial abuzz about the movie. To note, Jawan marks SRK's first collaboration with renowned director Atlee and Nayanthara and it has opened to rave reviews.

Interestingly, Jawan witnessed a thunderous start at the box office and has been touted to be an out and out massy entertainer. In fact, Jawan took over the box office like a giant tsunami and made a collection of around Rs 65 crore (Hindi) on its day of release. After a phenomenal start on the first day, Jawan mania continues in the second day as well.

Yes! Jawan is shining bright on day 2 and is going strong at the box office. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Jawan is likely to mint Rs 45 crore on the second day of release. Certainly it is an impressive collection on the second day but the second day collection has failed to beat the day 1 collection of Jawan. Instead, it has witnessed a drop as compared to day 1 collection.

Meanwhile, as the word of mouth about Jawan is doing the rounds, it will be interesting to see if there is a jump in the collection in the coming days. On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan is overwhelmed with the phenomenal response to Jawan. Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter (now X), SRK tweeted, "Wow have to take time out and thank each and every Fan Club and all of you who have gone so happily in the theatres and even outside. So overwhelmed will surely do the needful as soon as I get my breath back in a day or so. Uff!! Love u for loving #Jawan".
