Jawan Advance Booking Report Day 7: Shah Rukh Khan’s Film Continues A Strong Hold At The Box Office

Shah Rukh Khan is the ultimate king of Bollywood and he has proved it time and again at the box office. After a making a grand comeback with Pathaan this year and ruling the box office like a star, King Khan is now making the headlines for his recent release Jawan which is currently the hot topic of discussion in the town.

Helmed by Atlee, the movie stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra in Deepika Padukone and has been one of the most awaited films of the year. From the first poster to the trailer and the movie itself, Jawan has managed to create a substantial buzz and the impressive reviews and word of mouth are adding to its charm at the box office.

After a stunning start at the box office with an opening day box office collection of Rs 65 crore, Jawan witnessed a fantastic opening weekend. However, it witnessed a dip in the collections and occupancy on the first Monday (working day of course). But looks like Jawan is maintaining a steady hold at the box office in the first week.

Reportedly, the advance booking report of Jawan day 7 will be witnessing steady numbers as compared to booking reports and collections of day 6. It is evident that Jawan is giving a tough competition to the recent releases and leaving no stone unturned to create new records at the box office every day. In fact, the media reports are rife about Jawan surpassing the lifetime collection of Pathaan (Rs 525 crore) in the coming days.

On the other hand, it has also subsided Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2 which was ruling the ticket windows for a month now. In fact, Gadar 2's collection witnessed a massive drop post the release Jawan and now the Anil Sharma directorial is struggling to cross Rs 1 crore mark every day.

Meanwhile, the team of Gadar 2 has been elated with the stupendous success of Jawan. Recently, Gadar 2 actress Ameesha Patel congratulated King Khan for Jawan's box office success and tweeted, "Congrats @iamsrk for once again creating GADAR at the box office .. who better then u can do this magic .. we love u".
