Jawan Box Office Collection Day 16: SRK’s Action Film To Cross 900Cr Worldwide Today, To Create Another Record

Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee's first collaboration Jawan has emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters of the year and there are no second thoughts about it. The movie, which also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Deepika Padukone in the lead, has been roaring loud at the box office and winning hearts.

Interestingly, Jawan has managed to set new benchmarks at the box office and continues to be unstoppable in both India and worldwide. As there were reports about Jawan being the fastest movie to cross Rs 900 crores at the box office, the recent buzz states that the Atlee directorial is set to add another record to its list.

According to a tweet shared by film industry tracker Manobala Vijayabalan, Jawan has raked in Rs 891.08 crores in 15 days worldwide. Given the strong hold of Shah Rukh Khan directorial at the box office, Jawan is likely to cross Rs 900 crore today. Interestingly, Jawan will be creating another record as it will become the fastest Hindi film to cross Rs 900 crores worldwide.

On the other hand, Jawan has already emerged as the highest grossing Hindi film after surpassing the overall collection of Gadar 2 so far and beating the lifetime collection of Pathaan (Hindi) which happens to be around Rs 525 crores.

Meanwhile, given the phenomenal success of Jawan, there have been reports about a sequel to the movie. Reacting to the reports, Atlee told Pinkvilla, "Every film of mine has an open end but to date, I have never thought of doing a sequel to any of my films. For Jawan, if anything strong comes to me, I will make a part two. I have kept an open end and I can come up with a sequel now or later. But definitely will come up with a sequel to Jawan one day".
