Jawan Box Office Collection Day 8: SRK’s Film Makes The Lowest Collection Ever Amid Clash With Gadar 2

Shah Rukh Khan is one of the biggest stars of Bollywood and there are no second thoughts about it. After ruling the industry for over three decades, King Khan made headlines this year as he made a comeback with Pathaan after four years. The movie was a massive hit at the box office and made several records as well.

And now, Shah Rukh is once again making headlines and this time for his recent release Jawan. Helmed by Atlee, Jawan has been a mass entertainer which has been winning hearts since it has released. In fact, this Shah Rukh Khan starrer, which also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead, has been creating new box office records including the highest opening, highest third day collection and more.

But now, Jawan is making the headlines for a massive dip in the collections and has raked in the lowest collection ever. This happened on the eighth day of release. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Jawan made an earning of Rs 18 crore on Day 8 (second Thursday) which has been the lowest so far. This happened amid Jawan's ongoing competition with Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 which has also been holding a strong hold at the box office for over a month now.

Meanwhile, Jawan has managed to create a new record at the box office as it has become the fastest Bollywood film to cross Rs 400 crore mark at the box office. The movie is expected to collect Rs 20.15 crores today (day 9) which will take the overall collections of the movie to Rs 408.27 crores.

As of now, speculations are rife about Jawan crossing the Rs 500 crore mark soon for its lifetime collection. If the reports turned out to be true, it will help Shah Rukh Khan create a history and become the first Bollywood actor to have two movies with a joint collection of over Rs 1000 crore films in a year.
