Jawan Box Office Collection Day 16: SRK’s Film To See A Drop Ahead Of 3rd Weekend Amid TGIF, Sukhee Release

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan has been setting the box office on fire since the first day itself and there are no second thoughts about it. The Atlee directorial has been one of the biggest releases of the year which brought together stars like King Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone etc. Jawan has been ruling hearts ever since it was released and has been setting new benchmarks at the box office.

From getting the highest opening to becoming the highest grossing Hindi film ever, Jawan's box office journey has been phenomenal. And now, this Shah Rukh Khan directorial seems to be slowing down at the box office as it is now in its third week. Yes, after surpassing the collection of Gadar 2 and beating the lifetime collection Pathaan, Jawan's collection has been witnessing a massive dip ahead of its third weekend.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Jawan will be raking in around Rs 5.09 crores at the box office on day 16 (third Friday). If the reports turned out to be true, it will take the overall collection of the movie to Rs 531.87 crores. Well, looks like this drop is because of the recent releases at the box office. We are talking about Shilpa Shetty Kundra starrer Sukhee and Vicky Kaushal and Manushi Chhillar starrer The Great Indian Family.

Meanwhile, given the phenomenal success of Jawan, there have been reports about a sequel to the movie. Reacting to the reports, Atlee told Pinkvilla, "Every film of mine has an open end but to date, I have never thought of doing a sequel to any of my films. For Jawan, if anything strong comes to me, I will make a part two. I have kept an open end and I can come up with a sequel now or later. But definitely will come up with a sequel to Jawan one day".
