Jawan vs Animal vs Pathaan Box Office Day 3: Ranbir’s Film Beats SRK Starrer During A Historic Weekend

Ranbir Kapoor, who has won hearts with his chocolate boy look, is now making headlines for his recent release Animal. After all, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has brought Ranbir in a never seen avatar and fans have been in awe of his beast mode. In fact, Animal, which is an action drama, is touted to be one of Ranbir's best performances. Also starring Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol, Animal has opened to a phenomenal response from the audience.

Animal has made an opening day collection of Rs 63.8 crores and has been going strong at the box office. Given the positive word of mouth, Animal has been roaring loud and has been witnessing continuous growth with every day. After an impressive second day collection, Animal also witnessed a phenomenal third day which resulted in a stupendous opening weekend for the movie.

For the uninitiated, Animal made a collection of over Rs 202 crores during the opening weekend. While Animal was released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, Animal is doing an incredible business in Hindi and has made a collection of Rs 176.58 crores in Hindi in three days.

Interestingly, Ranbir starrer is giving a tough competition to Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan and Pathaan at the box office. In fact, Animal has also managed to beat Pathaan in three days business in Hindi. For the uninitiated, Jawan had made a collection of Rs 180.45 crores while Pathaan had minted Rs 161 crores in three days in Hindi.

With Animal going wild at the box office, it will be interesting to see how this Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial will fare in the coming days. Interestingly, Animal is witnessing a box office clash with Vicky Kaushal's biographical war drama Sam Bahadur. Talking about the clash, Vicky told Indian Express, "When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won't say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other; they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema". Meanwhile, Ranbir's Animal has managed to crush Sam Bahadur at the box office and this is evident with a huge gap in their collections.
