Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (KKBKKJ) Day 1 Box Office Collection: Salman’s Film Shockingly Underperforms On Eid

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Box Office: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (KKBKKJ), directed by Farhad Samji, was finally released yesterday (Apil 21) amid huge buzz and expectations.
Produced by Salman Khan, it is Salman's first proper theatrical release after Dabangg 3 in 2019 (not counting Radhe and Antim).
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is said to be inspired by Veeram, Ajith's 2014 Tail film, and Salman plays the role of the eldest brother to Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill, and Siddharth Nigam, as seen in the trailer.
The three brothers try to find a suitable partner for the character of Salman Khan, as they themselves want to get married. As the story progresses, Salman's character falls in love with Bhagyalaxmi, played by Pooja Hegde. To impress her family, he decides to abandon his aggressive behavior. However, when he learns that Bhagyalaxmi's family is under threat from a notorious criminal, he takes it upon himself to protect them.
The film also features Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari, and Vinali Bhatnagar in pivotal roles opposite Salman's brothers.
KISI KA BHAI KISI KI JAAN FRIDAY BOX OFFICE COLLECTION
Its trailer received a decent response from moviegoers and created a huge pre-release buzz as it's the big Eid release of this year.
Ever since its release on Friday, Farhad Samji's directorial has been getting a highly mixed response from critics as well as moviegoers. However, the film underperformed on the first day of its release and had a shockingly low opening in comparison to Salman's previous Eid releases. Yes, you read that right!
The official figures are out and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan failed to even cross the Rs 20 crore mark at the ticket window and earned Rs 15.81 crore on Friday.
KISI KA BHAI KISI KI JAAN NEEDS TO MAINTAIN MOMENTUM IN COMING DAYS
Well, the mass entertainer even failed to beat the opening of Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan which was released in January this year and turned out to be hugely successful.
With the Eid holiday on Saturday, we hope that Salman's new film jumps big time on the second day of its release. After a disappointing opening, the footfalls need to multiply over the next few days for Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan to reach a healthy total.
