OMG 2 Box Office Collection Day 6: Akshay Kumar Starrer Maintains Strong Hold; Crosses 100 Cr Mark Globally

OMG 2 Box Office Collection: The satirical comedy-drama OMG 2, featuring Akshay Kumar in an extended cameo, has proven its mettle at the box office, crossing the monumental Rs 100 crores gross mark globally within six days of its release.

After a modest Rs 10 crore opening, the film swiftly gained momentum due to the positive word of mouth, solidifying its position as a crowd favorite.

As the cinelovers celebrated Independence Day, OMG 2 brought in a remarkable Rs 17 crore on Tuesday, a noteworthy feat. Continuing its steady stride, the film added an Rs 7.75 crore on Wednesday, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.

On Wednesday, OMG 2 had a 30.69% occupancy rate for its Hindi screenings. With these new additions, the total collection of the film now stands at a commendable ₹80 crore.

The film opened to fierce competition at the box office, clashing with Sunny Deol's much-anticipated Gadar 2, Rajinikanth's Jailer, and Chiranjeevi's Bhola Shankar. However, with its theatrical run, the film has solidified its position as a box office success.

Film trade analyst also tweeted the official numbers of Akshay Kumar starrer and declared it SUPERHIT. He tweet reads, "#OMG2 continues to win hearts and mint money, after the big jump on #IndependenceDay... Will hit CENTURY [₹ 💯 cr] in Weekend 2...
