Pathaan Box Office Day 27: SRK’s Spy Thriller Becomes Fifth Indian Film To Hit A Huge Milestone

Shah Rukh Khan's latest release, Pathaan has been enjoying incredible success at the box office, even after completing nearly a month in theaters. The spy thriller has now crossed the coveted Rs 1000 crore mark at the worldwide box office and is also on track to become the top Hindi-language film domestically.

Despite several new releases such as Kartik Aaryan's Shehzada and Marvel's Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania, Pathaan has remained unaffected and continues to dominate the box office.

On its fourth Monday, the film added another Rs 1.25 crore (all languages) to its nett collection in India, bringing its total Hindi-language collection in India to around Rs 499 crore. The film still has some way to go before crossing the Hindi version of Baahubali: The Conclusion, which made Rs 510.99 crore.

SHAH RUKH KHAN'S PATHAAN ENTERS RS 1000 CRORE CLUB

Yash Raj Films recently shared the worldwide collections of Pathaan until Sunday, which stood at Rs 996 crore. According to Box Office Worldwide, the film crossed the Rs 1000 crore mark with Monday's collection, becoming the fifth Indian film to do so after Dangal, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, KGF: Chapter 2, and RRR. It's worth noting that Pathaan has achieved this feat without being released in China.

As the film's massive success continues, it remains to be seen if other Bollywood superstars like Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan can regain lost glory with their next releases.

Recently, Kartik Aaryan, who was credited with saving Bollywood in 2022 with his film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, has failed to repeat the success with his latest film Shehzada. Akshay Kumar, who starred in four flops last year, is now returning with his film Selfiee this Friday (February 24), hoping to enjoy the same success as Pathaan.

For the unversed, Pathaan marked SRK's big-screen comeback after four long years. It has finally ended his rough patch at the ticket window.

WHEN WILL SHAH RUKH KHAN'S JAWAN RELEASE?

This year, he'll be seen playing the lead roles in two other much-awaited films - Jawan and Dunki. Directed by Atlee, Jawan is slated to release on June 2 and fans are eagerly waiting to watch it.

Dunki, on the other hand, is helmed by Rajkumar Hirani and will hit the theatres during the Christmas weekend this year.
