Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani BO Day 4: Ranveer-Alia’s Film Witnesses Lowest Earnings; Crosses Rs 50 Cr Mark

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt have been all over the headlines these days courtesy of their recent release Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahan (aka Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani). Helmed by Karan Johar, the movie has opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics and it has been ruling the box office since the first day.

After witnessing a dhamakedaar opening weekend at the box office, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani has managed to pass the crucial first Monday test. While the romance drama has managed to rake in around Rs 46 crore in first three days, the fourth day collection witnessed Rocky Au Rani Ki Prem Kahani crossing the Rs 50 crore mark at the box office.

According to a report published in Box Office India, this Karan Johar directorial has earned around Rs 7 crore at the box office which takes the overall collection to Rs 53 crore. Although it happens to be the lowest earnings of the movie so far, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani continues to maintain a strong hold at the box office and is creating a buzz with word of mouth.

It will be interesting to see how Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani in the coming days. To note, this Karan Johar directorial marks Ranveer's second collaboration with Alia after Zoya Akhtar's 2019 release Gully Boy.

Earlier, talking about his character in the film, Ranveer stated, "He is not the brightest egg in the basket. Uska dil saaf hai, uska dil bahut bada hai (He has a clean and a big heart). He wears his heart on his sleeves. That's what I really love about this character, uspe bahut pyaar aata hai (he is very lovable). He is a mama's boy, and really loves his family. He loves fiercely and I really enjoyed playing Rocky. Now, when I watch the film, I feel so much love for him". Apart from Ranveer-Alia, the movie also stars Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan in the key role.
