Overall, the movie has now earned Rs 80.23 crore in India. As per a report in industry insider, Sacnilk, on August 4, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani had 19.73% Hindi occupancy in theaters.

Directed by Karan Johar and written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy, the romantic comedy is produced by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios. Along with Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, the film also features veteran actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles. Interestingly, Saif Ali Khan's son, Ibrahim Ali Khan worked as an assistant director in the Karan Johar directorial.
