Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani (RARKPK) Box Office Day 1 Prediction: Seven years after directing Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, filmmaker Karan Johar made a comeback with the much-awaited "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani." The film was released today amid sky-high buzz.

Starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead, RARKPK has opened to positive reviews from critics and audiences alike. The film is being hailed as an out-and-out family entertainer.

The melodrama, soulful songs, and larger-than-life set designs seem to have worked in favour of the makers, as the film is expected to have its biggest opening in double digits.

The number beat Ranbir and Shraddha Kapoor's Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar's day 1 advance booking figure, which was 3.60 crores gross.

Amid great expectations, the early estimates suggest that "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani" will open big and will surely have a double digit. According to trade website, Sacnilk, the family entertainer will earn around Rs 12 crore on day one.

It's a great figure for the beginning, and the numbers hopefully might rise during the weekends.
